Good ol’ Saint Paddy’s day. The day in which over half the world gets blackout drunk and passes out naked on the front lawn. The green clovers are a sure sign that spring is just around the corner and the food, well if you haven’t had shepard’s pie then you haven’t truly lived. The feast of Saint Patrick is a joyous, boisterous holiday. It is one filled with booze and friends and celebration. One overflowing with memories and liberation. It’s not for the faint of heart, but for those with iron fists and guts of steel.
Our Irish Pub Rock playlist is here to kick your ass into gear and to show you what being proud of her heritage looks like. It’s loud, proud and delightfully obnoxious. Songs like Whiskey, you’re the Devil will take you back to those old school Irish roots; while Flogging Molly’s ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ will have you stomping your feet and chugging copious amount of shitty green beer in no time.
‘Tis a day for jolly chants and jigs , it won’t be hard to win you over,
The luck of the Irish has helped many of folk to find their four leaf clover.
Those mischievous souls with their wee pots of gold will have you feelin’ frisky;
‘though if you see this fellow, and feel quite mellow, it may be due to too much whiskey.
Beware of green goons with puffy chests that make bets who can chug ’em quicker,
For Saint Paddy’s ain’t for the faint of heart but for those who can hold their liquor.
