Music Monday: Marrow

Buried bones, pelts, and rituals in preparation. Understanding the cycle of life and death and the treasures that these souls leave behind. This is a lonely life. One that is secluded deep in the oaks and pines. Chilly days that beget frigid nights. The stench of death only barely cast out by the sharpness of pine needles. One hidden in shadows; the gleam of stark white only seen as the sun begins to rise. Hollow, save for the sweet marrow used to make potions. Beauty in the macabre.  A small shelter, a bit of smoke. Femurs and fingers. Vertebrae necklaces and charred horn cups. They say in order to truly honor the dead, we must worship the body, the bones. Marrow and all.

Welcome to Marrow, the latest witch playlist from Not Your Counter Culture! Our Bone witch playlist is a folksy, bluesy. Playlist mixed with a hint of sweetness and sadness. Resurrection of memories and moments in remembrance of what only stories these bones can tell. To wonder what kind of life these creatures lived, our imaginations weaving intricate webs of tales and trials. The care and cleaning of these skeletons. Excavation. Intricate details. Mending and healing of the dead and gone. Sickening beauty. Where limbs come to turn into trees. For the Fragile. For the Bone Witch.
