I have been super excited to talk about this! In the past I’ve done a few reviews of Scentbird perfumes that I’ve gotten in. Now I’ve got something a little different for you! Lately they’ve been expanding from just offering perfumes to candles, hand creams, washes, scrubs, and lip balms. Unsure of what Scentbird is? It’s a monthly subscription that sends you a 30 day sample of the top designer perfumes. If you’re interested in trying the subscription service out, I have a link for you! A few months ago I was sent a hand cream to test out and I’ll have a review of that one up soon. However, I really wanted to get my hands on the Earl Grey & Blackberry scented items first.
Candle
This is a strong scented candle, and I mean that in a good way. There are a lot of times when a candle smells great until you burn it and then it suddenly looses most of it’s scent. That’s not the case with this one. I like that it comes in a little tin and isn’t too big. However, I do think that the lid of the tin is a little difficult to remove. Out of all of the products I feel that this one is the most scented. The information on the bottom states that is has a burn time of 40 hours. After burning it for a few hours this week at work I’d say that was a pretty good approximation. It does warn not to burn more than three to four hours at a time.
Hand Cream
The scent of the hand cream isn’t over powering. Overall I also don’t find it very greasy so it feels good on the skin. It is long lasting unlike other hand cream’s I’ve used in the past.
Body Wash
This body was blew me away. Normally when I use a body was I get ready for my skin to dry out or feel like I’ve got a film on. That’s not the case with this product. It’s a great scent for using in the shower first thing in the morning. Also after the first use I was surprised by how moisturized my skin felt.
Overall I highly recommend the new Scentbird products and can’t wait to try more!
