Music Monday – The Heart

They say that all those who wander aren’t always lost. That souls may not know the burden they carry. Some choose this life of listlessness if only to be with the ones they cherish, even if their only option is to perish. The damned are the ones who carry their chips on their shoulders. They seek to burn bridges right before their enemy’s eyes. They’d rather burn for their sins rather than let For the killing kind of the serial variety, who wait all year just to have a taste of their just desserts.

The Heart is a darkwave filled 80’s wonderland of music. The tracks are brimming with industrial and goth influences that speak to our darkest dramas. This specific playlist was created originally for American Horror Story: Hotel, but we find it fitting for anyone who’s a fan of the keyboard as well as the dark and mysterious. Be sure to check out ‘Up Past the Nursery’ by the Suuns and ‘Trophy’ by Bat for Lashes to see just what we’re talking about.

For the synth loving, blood sucking, bond wielding few. For the one’s willing to spend eternity with the ones they’ve lost. Those unfortunate souls trapped inside these many walls, unable to seek freedom; as the need for revenge far outweighs their longing to be liberated. For the lost one’s left with nothing; who choose death to achieve everything.
