It’s been about a year since you’ve heard from us. First of all we want to apologize for the silence. We never meant to disappear but 2019 turned out to be super busy for us. If you’re wondering where we’ve been and what our plans are for the blog, stay tuned for an update!
Where Did We Go
There’s no need to tell you that 2019 was one hell of a year. For us there was a lot going on with both our personal lives and day jobs. They both kind of consumed all of our time. We both work full time jobs and typically have something else on the side going on as well. On top of all of that, we also opened a coffee and tea shop. Yes, you read that right, we opened up a shop!
Ritual Coffee Tea & Oddities is located in Charlotte, NC and Erica is running it, on top of her full time job! It took months of planning and work but the shop officially opened in October. If you’re in the Charlotte area or passing through make sure to go check it out. Make sure to mention this website when you go! The end of 2019 also saw a major change that really hits us hard. If you followed our Music Monday posts then you know that the main place for us to post our weekly playlists was 8tracks. Unfortunately the site has stopped streaming music. We were able to move as much as possible to Spotify, however they don’t have some of the songs we used on a few of the playlists. Hopefully, I will be able to go in and update all of the posts soon to reflect the change.
As for our unboxings, Sabbat Box has also been discontinued and we have stopped receiving the other subscriptions we had been covering.
What’s Next
For the time being we are still trying to find a balance with our work and personal lives as well as our new business adventures. On top of Ritual, there are plans to start selling our own tea blends based on our witch series. I am currently working on that and will keep you updated once those are available.
We do have plans to start writing regularly again but for the time being expect to see posts pop up when we can sit down and knock one out. Make sure you’ve subscribed to the blog and followed us on Facebook to be the first to know when there’s an update!
